The Department of Public Health is accepting applications for a Public Health Program Coordinator (PHPC) who will administer and coordinate a county-wide Black Infant Health (BIH) program. BIH provides culturally relevant, client-centered, strength-based and cognitive skill building services to eligible African-American participants for improving maternal and child health. The incumbent in this position will serve as the Black Infant Health Coordinator and will work under the direction of a Public Health Program Manager in designing, developing, implementing, monitoring and evaluating individual and population-based program services and related budget; leading community assessment and engagement functions; and supervising professional and paraprofessional staff.
