The primary function of the Production Support Engineer is to support the production users and workstations, implement new production environments, maintain and troubleshoot systems as required, with the aim of providing a stable and fully functioning production environment. This may include setting up an on-location editing workstation and technology in a WPP joint venture facility.
Production systems in use at Hogarth include standard application suites and custom workflow tools. The standard applications include, but are not restricted to; Adobe Creative Suite, Apple Final Cut Studio, Apple Final Cut Server, Autodesk Maya, Avid ProTools, Font Explorer, Maxon Cinema 4D, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Exchange, Omnigraffle suite, SDL Trados, Tektronix Cerify, Telestream Episode Engine, The Foundry Nuke, etc.
Job requirements:

2+ years of experience in production support
Excellent working knowledge of production processes and services
Advanced knowledge of Mac OSX and Adobe Creative Suite.
Form good working relationships with post producers and operators.
Excellent customer service skills – must be approachable and respectful
Excellent time management skills & ability to multi-task
Outstanding organizational skills
Ability to communicate technical information in a user-friendly way
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Resourceful and a good problem-solver
