Position Summary:
The Associate Marketing Manager - Shopper Marketing, Amazon Team is charged with helping to create demand online, by developing marketing programs that will influence shopper behavior and stimulate Category/Brand demand. They will partner with their Brand Manager, Amazon Shopper Marketing and Customer Team to develop and deliver integrated Customer Business Plans based on strong shopper insights and understanding of key drivers of eCommerce. They ensure strategic alignment between our Consumers, Shoppers, Customer and Clorox objectives and support eCommerce Product Managers in executing brand media programs on the Amazon site.

Key Responsibilities (in descending order of importance) and % of Time:
Planning and Strategy- Defines Amazon online Marketing strategies/priorities for Customer team based on Customer and eCommerce platform understanding. Integrates knowledge of Clorox/Brand objectives, Customer strategies and consumer/shopper insights to develop Amazon-specific business building programs. Leads Customer specific marketing plans with Customer team. Ensures plans are integrated into annual Customer business plan. Partners with Amazon NAMs to ensure sound plan and program execution. Refines objectives/plans based on pre/post event analysis.
Marketing Plan Development and Execution- Recommends marketing initiatives that link to strong shopper insights, Customer strategies and Clorox objectives. Successfully initiates programs that drive profitable business results for Clorox and the Customer. Manages development of digital media/marketing plans and integrated programs with Customer Team and Agency resources. Initiates work with Agency, provides feedback, presents ideas to Customer and ensures execution. Develops agency/vendor/marketing partner relationships to ensure consistent high quality work. Plans, manages and tracks budgets to ensure effective and efficient spends. Develops understanding of program effectiveness and efficiency by analyzing completed events.
Customer Team Management and Influence- Establishes contacts with and cultivates relationships with key marketing counterparts at the customer. Identifies opportunities for Clorox and Customer benefit based on strong understanding of customer's strategies and core shoppers. Develops key insights for Clorox on how to leverage digital marketing opportunities at Amazon to build both online and offline sales. Assists in sharing best practices to influence future business building choices.
People Development- Coach and develop extended customer/SBU team. Represent marketing perspective and help build capability. Drives personal development

Minimum Requirements:

Years and Type of Experience:
3-5+ years of CPG or equivalent Marketing experience-including analytical experience

Skills and Abilities:
Previous experience with interpreting shopper data to develop business building programs-desirable
Technical Knowledge of the Area
Strong Leadership & Communication Skills
Interpersonal Relationship Management
Planning and Organizing
Understanding of Consumer/Shopper
Customer Planning and Management processes/ tools
Customer understanding and basic selling skills

Education Level/Degree:
BS/BA degree (MBA a plus)
