The Facility Services Ops. Manager will manage the performance of all mail distribution and shipping/receiving related services provided through contractors and outside vendors. Experience developing and implementing mail security and screening programs and benchmarking against industry best practices is highly desired.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and direct processes and procedures for mail screening, shipping, and delivery services in a multi-campus, nationwide environment
Direct day-to-day service operations including performance of scheduled and demand services
Ensure that the work performed by all contractors and/or vendors is in full-compliance of the Statement of Work (SOW) as well as the Service Level Agreements (SLA’s)
Establish and maintain meaningful metrics for mail operations as well as shipping & receiving operations
Knowledgeable of all policies and procedures pertaining to mail distribution and shipping/receiving to ensure consistent service performance throughout the organization
Manage a staff of contractors and vendors, while interacting with managers and staff at every level
Manage the budget for the facilities services function, reviewing monthly variance reports
Coordinate with building management and facilities development on general inspection, maintenance, repair, and project improvements for mail and distribution facilities, loading docks, copy rooms, etc.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor Degree (Facilities/Facility Services/Business Operations/Project Planning) or equivalent
8+ years of relevant experience
Vendor Management, contractual and performance monitoring
Preferred Qualifications:
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
CMDSM certification; District of Columbia, United States; User's other ads
