Cost Accountant needed for plantwide operations in the food industry.

Practical Experience:

*** In depth knowledge and experience with GAAP.

*** Five years experience in a cost accounting environment, preferred food industry.

*** Previous use of ERP software systems.

Education:

*** Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar field.

*** Masters degree in Accounting, or MBA preferred.

Duties:

*** Review COGS, oversee cycle count processes, conduct ongoing reviews of daily cycle counts.

*** Ensure all accounting activities are following GAAP.

*** Generate period-end reports including production variance analyses, pounds of product produced, hours and wages paid for employees and more.
