CPA firm has an immediate need for an experienced audit manager or audit senior of employee benefit plans primarily comprised of Multi-Employer plans ranging in size from 300 to 200,000 participants with assets of $5,000,000 to 1 Billion dollars.

Firm services almost 100 Multi-Employer Plans, many of which are in the Building and Construction industry. These plans consist of defined benefit, defined contribution, and health and welfare benefit plans.

Responsibilities:

Supervision of audit staff
Scheduling engagements
Audit planning
Review of work papers and financial statements
Interaction with Plan Administrators and key personnel
Attendance of board of Trustees Meetings
Review of DOL and IRS filings
Review of staff performance
Marketing activities.

Qualifications

Multi-employer benefit plan experience required
CPA preferred
Minimum of 5 years experience of managing employee benefit plan audits; Chicago, Illinois, United States; User's other ads
