"Our latchstring is hanging out For true friends, old and new; You're welcome here, so come inside. We've saved a place for you. Kansas City, Kans.". Hand painted. Measures approx. 9 1/2 in. long X 2 3/4 in. across. Woodpecker knocker is in proper working order.
Series of Unfortunate Events by Lemony Snicket is a great series...... This precious poem was the Prospero's boarding pass. Prospero was a V.F.D. ship (Volunteer Fire Department) that assists V.F.D. members whenever circumstances require headed for Peru.
