The first mention of a church of Santa Giustina appears in a bull of Pope Lucio II to the bishop of Rimini Rainerio, dated May 21st 1114. Damaged by the war events in 1944, in its place in the post-war period a new church was built for the accuracy between 1944 and 1963.
Deep restoration and renovation works were carried out in 1983.
In the churchyard there is a Roman milestone which indicates the distance of five miles from Rimini, in fact the fraction or locality of Santa Giustina is 6.43 kilometers from the same municipality of Rimini to which it belongs, rising at 29 meters above sea level.

The current Master Jader Abbondanza Director of the Banda Città di Rimini, has been for many years Director of the Filarmonica Pasquale Anfossi of Taggia.
