The GFNY Protos is the most ambitious project ever started by the De Rosa family. It’s the result of two years of work which is the cumulation in everything De Rosa has learned and understood in 60 years of frame building. It combines high performance, exceptional stability and is of course… SEXY!

Once aboard this machine you will know what 60 years of experience can build. First you will feel its massive tubes propel flawlessly whether it is in a sprint or during a climb. Then you will be pleasantly surprised to still feel your body on a hundred mile ride due to the exceptional compliance built into the tubes. The ability to absorb and disperse the irregularities of the terrain is obtained through a particular design of the fork called the “Head Flat Face”, which is stable while aero enough for a high speed timetrial. Furthermore, De Rosa left no stone unturned. The internal cabling for mechanical or electronic components is flawlessly clean. The Bottom Bracket is a massive 86.5mm and the head tube a 1 1/4? – 1 1/8? which both add to the frames’ stiffness and stability.
