This is a 1968 Martin D28 dreadnought- with hardshell case
I purchased this guitar used in 1973. I am a bass player and have several acoustics always around to play- this guitar has for all practical purposes, sat in the case in a closet since then. As you can see, the pick guard is pulling up- I am told this is an easy fix- there had been NO repair work done on this guitar- there are no major finish cracks or heavy playing wear marks- Frets and fingerboard are in great condition
You can see the one small blemish on the front of the guitar----someone bumped it while it was on the stand-
I installed a Barcus Berry transducer inside the guitar under the bridge- you can also see that I installed an input jack on the right side of the guitar- this is NOT a 1/4 phone, but the smaller variety that comes with the pickup--- this was all BEFORE built in transducers, pre-amps and end-pin input jacks-
Case is not original but is a nice hardshell case- frets and fingerboard are both in excellent condition!
