D´Aquisto Tear Drop Acoustic Jazz Archtop Guitar . Beautiful hand crafted guitar has a solid top of solid Sitka Spruce and laminated flamed maple back and sides. The neck is 1 piece maple with an ebony fingerboard with maple binding. It comes in a beautiful Centura Red burst finish with a custom fit hardshell case. This guitar is made in Japan by Arai & Company that now manufactures the entire D'Aquisto line of guitars.
The tear drop guitar was an original design from master luthier John D'Angelico. D'Aquisto later used this same design while updating it by using the same specification as the 1992 Solo model. DQ-TD keeps the original headstock shape but adds the "A cutone " bridge.
