The UES40 SurgMaster is the latest electrosurgical unit by Olympus. It contains significantly improved performance in cutting and coagulation. It allows the use of conventional monopolar resectoscopes as well as bipolar and monopoloar hand instruments. In addition, it allows for performance of resection in saline. This unit is suitable for open and endoscopic surgery including gastroenterology, gynecology, respiratory and urology. The unit is intuitive use and easy to set up. Features include automatic smoke evacuation when combined with the UHI-3 Insufflation Unit.
