Selling my excellent Meade 16 Inch F/4.5 Dobsonian Telescope (Newtonian Reflector) It has MgF2 coatings, Duel speed 2" Crayford style focuser with fine focus 10:1 speed reduction, metal (aluminum) open truss design optical tube assembly, 16 inch mirror, focal length 1829mm, focal ratio f/4.5, resolving power (Dawes limit) 0.285 arcseconds, red dot view finder, OTA Fan (8XAA batteries) It has been converted with removable wheelbarrow wheels, to move it around. Includes, a Telrad Finder w/ high base, a Meade 2" QX Wide Angle 26mm eyepiece, a Hotech Precision Laser Collimation Tool, Upgraded knobs and springs, also included is a Denkmeier Binocular system, 2"- 1.25" filters, etc., etc. Price is firm. This awesome Telescope sells for almost $2,000 online. I am selling it used for less than half that price! This is Pick Up Only, no shipping!
I also have made a slide on accessory tray which helps with all the pieces necessary to Star Shoot! And wheelbarrow arms with wheels to assist with moving the 58 pounds of OTA Primary Housing (Mirror assembly!) which both work great and really do make moving the heaviest part of the telescope around, much easier! I also installed large plastic block type legs on the telescope bottom, to get it up off the dirt/grass and I think it also helps with bringing the 16 inch mirror up to the correct temp.
