Freshgrass is still appear far off in the distance of quite temped and always beautiful September. And the submissions for FreshGrass Awards are now open in Four categories: Band, Banjo, Fiddle, and the No Depression Singer-Songwriter Award. Our goal is to preserve and support innovative grassroots music and FreshGrass Composition Commission is our flagship $50,000 award, given annually to an artists whose work reflects throughout the aim. Half of the award is given for the creation and superior performance, with the other half given to assist the recording and launch of the work.
