Description

Ahern Rentals is looking for a Dispatch Clerk that is well organized, detail oriented person to coordinate the shipping and pick-up schedule for our delivery truck drivers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Dispatch drivers throughout local area
Coordinate delivery and pick-up of equipment
Work with service department to keep trucks maintained
Communicate with stores when equipment to be delivered has problems
Assign Field Service Technicians to field repairs
Answer incoming phone calls and provide customer support
Maintain accurate files and log books
Filing, data entry, and retrieval of documents
Other duties, as assigned by Management

Qualifications:

1 year previous dispatch experience
Must be computer literate
Must be able to operate 2 way radio
Must be able to multitask
Knowledge of DOT Laws and regulation a plus
Previous rental experience a plus
Must be able to read, write, and speak English
Must be able to pass drug test and background check
Must be able to provide Motor Vehicle Record at time of job offer (current within 15 days)
