The Torrance-South Bay YMCA is looking for summer camp volunteers for Counselors (ages 18 and up) and Counselors-in-Training (ages 16-17) for YMCA Camp Whittle (August 1-8) and YMCA Camp Round Meadow (July 11-18) located in the San Bernardino mountains. Camp counselors are trained volunteers that lead a cabin group of 8-10 kids or teens (3rd grade and up) for a week of summer camp. Activities may include archery, arts and crafts, games, climbing wall, zipline, horseback riding and much more. By volunteering with us you gain volunteer experience, job skills, leadership skills and personal growth. Volunteers will attend trainings before camp and will go through an interview process.
