Talent Acquisition
Partners with hiring supervisors at all levels of the Agency, including senior leaders to fill various levels of staff positions.
Facilitates the recruitment process which may include initial assessments, presentation of qualified candidates to hiring managers, interviews, selection, offer and follow-up.
Builds awareness of the Thresholds organization and our career opportunities through participation in job fairs, educational institution partnerships, community events and professional organizations and through the utilization of creative recruitment techniques and marketing efforts.
Works with internal departments and hiring managers to assist with recruitment efforts. Effectively building working partnerships with these teams and hiring managers so that Talent Management is an integral part of the interviewing and hiring process.
Using hiring and employment data analytics provide guidance about talent development and retention to hiring managers and HR professionals.
Manage and maintain e3 applicant tracking system including reporting, updating job postings, adding account codes and updating job statuses.
Develop relationships with and managing third party recruitment agencies and staffing firms.
Employee Relations
In partnership with the Director, Employee Relations and Engagement provides and maintains a positive talent environment with supervisors and staff through advising, guiding and applying appropriate recommendations based on Agency policy and procedure.
Assists in the coordination of the annual employee rewards and recognition programs including monthly service awards, annual employee recognition events and other related activities.
Supports Agency business units in talent related matters such as employee relations, policy interpretation, performance management and the corrective action process.
Assists in analyzing complaints, conducting investigations, and providing recommendations to Director and supervisor for the handling of formal and informal complaints.
Analyzes metrics associated with employee engagement and relations issues, identifies gaps, and makes recommendation for action plans to improve response times, corrective action successes and performance improvement.
Participates in the exit interview process to gather information about employee’s reasons for leaving and tracking data confidentially to use for retention efforts and management development.
Manages special projects and other duties as assigned.
Marginal Functions:
May be required to assume responsibilities for the other Talent Management employees in their absence, or as assigned.
May be required to need to train other Talent Management employees as needed.
Basic Qualifications:
Experience/Training:
Bachelor’s degree required.
Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in recruiting in a Talent Management setting or staffing firm. Previous healthcare or social service experience required.
Demonstrated experience in Employee Relations required.
Specific experience using internet–based recruiting methods and tools.
Experience working with applicant tracking systems.
Experience with HRIS systems and reporting tools.
Must be able to handle high volume recruiting and multiple searches simultaneously.
Certifications/Licenses:
PHR/SPHR preferred
Talents Preferred:
Demonstrated interpersonal and listening skills.
Experience conducting cold calls and behavior-based interviews.
Strong project and time management skills.
Attention to detail and follow-through.
