POSITION: Purchasing Coordinator
ORGANIZATION TYPE: Education
LOCATION: Newark, NJ
START DATE: First week in April 2015
DURATION: 5 months
PAY: $15/hr.
HOURS: 40-45 hours per week (overtime is paid for every hour over 40)
In order to be considered you MUST have worked in a Purchasing or AP/AR capacity!!!!

Responsibilities

Execute on purchase order process to ensure that teachers and staff can obtain necessary materials in an efficient and timely manner
Manage communication with vendors and with school staff regarding purchase order process and delivery
Collaborate with the director of school operations to monitor expenditures in relation to the school’s budget
Organize and maintain purchasing and accounts payable documentation

Must Haves

Meticulous attention to detail
Excellent communication skills, with a customer service orientation
Experience managing various projects simultaneously
