Description

Ahern Rentals is looking for an automotive painter to maintain our fleet of rental equipment through proper preparation and application of body paints.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

De-grease, remove dirt, old paint or rust from vehicle surfaces in preparation for paint application
Remove accessories from vehicles, such as chrome or mirrors, and mask other surfaces with tape or paper in order to protect them from paint
Spray prepared surfaces with primers and decorative or finish coatings
Use all provided PPE when exposed to potential dangers
Maintain safety and cleanliness of equipment, shop and yard
Update all required documents in an accurate and timely manner
Other duties, as assigned by Management

Qualifications:

2 years previous vehicle painting experience
Experienced in construction equipment painting, paint prep and paint finishing
Must have thorough knowledge of the spray paint regulations
Must be able to read, write, and speak English
Must be able to pass drug test and background check
Must be able to provide Motor Vehicle Record at time of job offer (current within 15 days)
