MSK ULTRASOUND APPLICATION SPECIALIST – Eastern USA

Purpose of this posting: I am Howard Honeycutt Recruiting. For my client, a global leader in medical imaging products sold to hospitals and clinics in the USA, I am searching for candidates for a MSK Application Specialist position in the Eastern USA. The Position: The MSK Ultrasound Application Specialist helps the sales process by doing Ultrasound demonstrations for the Salespeople in hospitals and medical Clinics before the sale, and then, training the people in the hospital or clinic on how to use the new equipment/system.

Job Location and Travel: The person selected will work from their home in cities with a major airport such as Tampa, Orlando, Atlanta, Baltimore, or other major Eastern USA cities. Travel will be 75 to 80%, generally Monday through Friday, but occasionally a weekend to support tradeshows. My client tries to keep people in their time zone but the need could be anywhere in the USA.

Principal Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Ultrasound or ARDMS certification with equivalent work experience is required. MSK Ultrasound experience should include all categories of experience – cardiac, OB/GYN, vascular, general imaging, MSK/pain management and point of care. Candidates with only vascular or OB GYN experience do not qualify.
• Strong training skills in Ultrasound and MSK
• 5+ years of experience in MSK Ultrasound, with strong understanding of Ultrasound physics and principals, not just the ability to scan.
o We will be giving all candidates that pass verbal interview a written and hands on scanning technical assessment
• Should have good experience with both MSK and pain management
o Must be able to demonstrate their MSK scanning ability
o Need excellent knowledge of anatomy; especially as seen on U/S images
• Excellent communication, and problem solving skills
• Ability to read and comprehend technical materials
• Strong knowledge of CR/DR is a big PLUS.
• MSK Ultrasound experience with another medical imaging company is a big PLUS
