Quality Engineer - Oberlin, Ohio - JOB 17-00374

Oberlin Area Company is seeking a Quality Engineer. The Quality Engineer will be responsible for the company's products and processes to internal, external, and customer requirements. Lead the process improvement, and corrective action activities. Provide statistical data analysis expertise to the organization. Assure APQP activities are conducted according to requirements and in a timely manner.

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering required
4 years' quality assurance experience in an automotive component manufacturing, or related environment.
Experience with CMM Programming
ASQ Certified Quality Engineer and Lean Six Sigma Green Belt highly preferred
Must have knowledge of TS and ISO standards, particularly as related to product realization.
Quality system knowledge of TS or equivalent with emphasis on APQP processes (FMEA,PPAP)
Good multitasking skills
Must have excellent communication skills (Written & Verbal)
Project Management skills desired.
Experience and/or knowledge of statistics, root cause analysis, auditing, PDCA, lean, six sigma, gauging and inspection.
Through knowledge of kaizen and lean manufacturing techniques.
Company uses Zeiss CMM's & Calypso programming language (experience with Zeiss CMM's & Calypso preferred)
