Plant Reliability Engineer / Specialist, Predictive / Preventative Maintenance, Continuous Improvement - Gary, IN - JOB 17-00053

Salary Range: $100K - $110K Permanent Position with Benefits.

A large steel manufacturing company in the united states is seeking a Plant Reliability Engineer / Specialist to provide ongoing technical support to internal operating units for the identification of opportunities to increase the reliability of equipment assets to world-class standards. Create an atmosphere that supports continuous knowledge transfer between operating units at the plant level. This position will be in the Primary & Finishing operations departments.

REQUIREMENTS
Bachelors' degree or Equivalent years of experience of proven knowledge in a maintenance environment.
Certified Reliability Engineer preferred
Provide leadership, expertise and direction in the implementation of Maintenance Reliability strategies across all Flat Roll manufacturing facilities.
Develop and execute improvement programs and projects across the maintenance and reliability functions.
Demonstrate the ability to lead change, effective communication, and high-performance teams and ability to manage change.
Demonstrate the ability to champion change and effective communication while contributing to team success.
Conduct analysis of system maintainability and reliability studies of equipment.
Root Cause Analysis of systems and subsystems, conduct field analysis of operations, investigations & evaluations, identify Operational delays, lead problem solving & continuous improvement.
Write monthly reports.
Establish strong effective Project Managers to support equipment. Prefer experience with maintenance planning, preventative and predictive maintenance techniques and lean principles. Interact with other Operating facilities to ensure consistent practices are maintained.
Conduct field analysis of operations, investigations, evaluation and reviews and provide feedback to appropriate functional groups including executive staff.
Communicate with other operating facilities to ensure consistent practices are maintained.
