Field Service Technician - Cheshire, CT - JOB 17-00295

Salary Range: $80K - $100K Permanent Position with Benefits.

Cheshire, CT. Company is seeking a Field Service Technician. The Field Service Technician will install, repair, and maintain equipment for the company as well as the companies' clients.

REQUIREMENTS
Associates Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
Must have strong computer science background or equivalent work experience.
5+ years' experience installing and repairing with technical mechanical and electrical systems and related components.
3 – 5 years' experience with industrial controls, computer and PLC networks, set up and assistance.
Experience with PLC controls
Electrical expertise in installing, maintaining and troubleshooting.
CNC Machine Repair a plus.
Must be able to travel 99% of the time.
A+ or MCSE certifications a plus
Must be able to read and interpret documents such as wiring diagrams, mechanical or electrical drawing, P&ID's, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Excellent communication skills (written & verbal)
Knowledge of electrical codes: NFPA 70 (NEC), NFPA 79, NFPA 496, UL 508A, etc.
No relocation assistance provided.

Candidates may be required to submit to a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.
