Teacher Assistant Barren County Children’s Services

Closes: Open Until Filled

Full-time position available with our Children’s Services Program in Barren County. Duties will include assisting the teacher in planning and carrying out the daily activities of the classroom and providing educational instruction to three and four year old children.

Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED required, completion of Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential require with 2 years; or have an associate or baccalaureate (in any area) or be enrolled in a program leading to such a degree. Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or Child Development; or, CDA (Child Development Associate) preferred.
Experience working with children in a classroom setting. Good communication skills a must.

Salary: Minimum salary for this position will be $9.18 per hour, with an excellent benefit package.
