Linium is currently seeking a Junior Technical Support Engineer for our client a global software firm. Responsibilities will include providing product and application support to external, enterprise customers and technology partners. The Jr. Technical Support Engineer will provide support in the use of company applications across various platforms and solutions at a global help desk, providing first level support/ troubleshooting assistance.

Job details include:
Receive information from customers and partners on issues, and will analyze the issues and provide resolutions
Escalate issues to senior level support team members when needed
Manage and prioritize own workload and provide output within set deadlines
Replication and escalation of software defects and enhancement requests to Core Development team, ensuring accurate information is provided
Should be enthusiastic and ambitious and should provide exemplary customer service to these clients

Successful candidates will possess the following skills, education and experience:
A bachelor's degree is preferred but not required
1+ year of technical support or technical customer service experience
Excellent problem-solving skills
Knowledge of Windows server operating systems
Any exposure to web applications or web application development, support or website development would be a plus
Will consider classes/internship experience with web applications
Any knowledge of HTML, XML, JavaScript, .NET/C#, SQL Server, Oracle, ASP, Java, JSP, Tomcat, Apache, Unix/Linux a plus
Knowledge of content management solutions and relational databases a plus
