DUTIES: Responsible for overall design and implementation of video/audio production, including filming of high definition video content and digital non linear editing. Work with EMC marketing managers, producers and directors to conceptualize and develop story ideas for use in global marketing campaigns. Collaborate with EMC managers, producers and the Social Media team on Social Media strategy and implementation to promote EMC to a global audience. Create Carnet documents for International film shoots, and coordinate shipping and procurement of production equipment. Plan, research and select hardware and software used in production and post-production, including RED Epic cinema cameras and cinema prime lenses, studio and location grip equipment and edit suites and software packages. Meet with internal and external clients to assess project direction and recommend approaches to production and execution. Collaborate with the film crew including the lighting gaffer to plan a lighting strategy to achieve the optimum cinematic effect. Plan and execute video recording consisting of shot composition, lighting, and audio recording. Edit video using a variety of editing software suites, using visual and audio effects, music and pacing to create documentary, commercial and narrative videos. Guide and mentor other Multimedia Production Specialists in the use of advanced editing/production tools. May be assigned to various, unanticipated sites throughout the United States.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelors degree in Comp. Sci., Engin(any), or related technical field. 12 months experience in job offered or related occupation. Experience must include: 1) Large sensor video cameras and DSLRs to record HD video and photo time lapses, incorporating cine lenses and PL mount lenses, matte boxes and filters; 2) Lighting equipment (Light meters, Kino Flo, Arri, LED litepanel ranges); 3) Steadicams, glidecams, and follow focus systems including wireless focus systems; 4) Recording audio using lavalier mics, radio mics, shotgun mics, boom operating, handheld recorders such as Zoom H4N, and mixers; 5) Studio and ENG style productions (lighting, green screen shooting, operating ENG cameras); 6) Tricaster virtual set technology; 7) Color correcting and grading of video footage, using color spaces, LUTs, and log shooting to achieve desired dramatic effect; 8) Editing, remixing and adding effects to music and other audio; 9) Editing RAW format photos and adding graphics; 10) Final Cut Pro 7; 11) Magic Bullet Suite; and 12) Adobe CS6 (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Audition, Bridge, Media Encoder, Lightroom). Experience may be gained concurrently. Any suitable combination of education, training or experience is acceptable.
