We are hiring a Vacation Coverage Specialist to provide Pest Prevention services to commercial clients. The Vacation Coverage Specialist person will be responsible for covering routes for Pest Route Professionals on vacation for the assigned branch. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys a hands-on position and working independently. This position involves daily travel on assigned routes and acting as a consultant for our clients' pest prevention needs. Candidates must be customer oriented and take pride in providing World Class service to clients. This is a full time position that will work days, baker's shift and night shifts based on the route they are covering for. This is not a set schedule. The Vacation Coverage Specialist must be able to work a flexible schedule and available for any of the shifts described. The Vacation Coverage Specialist position offers benefits after 60 days, company vehicle, profit sharing, paid holidays and vacation among many other competitive rewards. This position has base pay plus commission potential. Steritech provides training including travel expenses, no pest prevention experience required. The hired person will cover Austin and surrounding areas Central.

Position Description
* Deliver our EcoSensitive® Pest Prevention services to our commercial clients
* Perform daily route travel to client facilities
* Interaction with clients on a regular basis
* Conduct regular inspections of client facilities
* This position may require some Weekend on-call work if necessary

Position Requirements
* Enjoy hands-on work and possess a positive, can-do attitude
* High School Diploma/GED
* Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, baker's shift (3AM-Noon) and nights
* Computer skills - Basic knowledge required
* Excellent customer service skills
* Strong attention to detail
* Good decision making skills
* Offers for the Vacation Coverage Specialist will be contingent upon passing a Physical Functional Job Assessment
* Must pass pre-employment Background Check and pre-employment and random Drug Tests
* Meet the following Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) requirements (Offers are contingent upon verification of MVR checks):
- A valid driver's license for the last three years
- Maximum of three (3) violations and no major violations in the last three (3) years. Major violations include DWI, DUI, Hit & Run, Homicide, Assault, Suspension or Revocation or License, Reckless Driving
- No more than 3 violations in past 3 years with no at-fault accidents
- No more than 2 violations in past 3 years with one at-fault accident
- No more than 2 at-fault accidents in the past 3 years with no violations

Desired Skills and Experience
* At least two (2) years work experience in a service environment
* Stable work history - No more than three (3) jobs in the last five (5) years a Plus
* Previous experience working independently and with little supervision
* Previous experience in Route or Delivery work a plus
* Prior experience in the pest industry is a definite plus, but not required
Physical Demands
Must be able to physically perform the essential duties of the position which include lifting 75lbs chest high, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, handling, balancing, walking and standing
