The Department of Public Health is recruiting for a Supervising Public Health Nurse who will supervise nursing and other personnel in special county-wide programs including the Black Infant Health (BIH) program. BIH provides culturally relevant, client-centered, strength-based and cognitive skill building services to eligible African-American participants for improving maternal and child health. The incumbent in this position will be responsible for ensuring excellent nursing and evidence-based practice, while optimizing resources for achieving individual and community health outcomes. The resulting eligible list may be used to fill vacancies in other programs as they occur.
