Description

The speakers are for the legendary and highly sought after pair of ELECTRO VOICE PATRICIAN 800 speakers in IMMACULATE condition. This pair was purchased from the estate of its original owner. The speakers were powered by McIntosh MC-275 paired with McIntosh C-20 preamplifier. The Patrician 800 is a 4-way speaker with a frequency response of 15-23,000 Hz. It uses a 30” woofer for bass, SP12 for mid-bass, 1824 w/8HD horn for treble, and T350 for high frequencies. The cabinets were refinished in the early 80's and they are still in beautiful condition. The crossover capacitors were replaced as well as the cloth cover for the 30" woofer. This pair is ready to play music for its new owner for another 50 years.

The Patrician 800 delivers the tonal integrity of the finest vintage speakers ever designed. Individual voices and instruments are faithfully reproduced and remain tightly focused on the soundstage no matter how complex the musical passage.
