Description

Repousse presentation coin water pitcher 1856 with an engraved boars head. The coin silver large floral repousse water pitcher has a shaped body decorated with scrolling foliage. The large body sits on a spreading, repousse pedestal foot with a beaded rim and has a scroll handle with an acanthus leaf thumb piece. The body also has a Greek key motif around.

The inscription on front "Present to Martha M. Buello June 16 1855. Maker unknown. Measuring 15 1/ 4 inches height. The beautiful piece adds a very elegant touch to any table. Very good condition, and nice patina. The weight is 34 t oz.
