Description

The Foothills Dash is a fun and scenic race on the Foothills Trail and open to people of all ages and ability levels. This is an out and back race. The 5K and 10K courses are USATF certified and chip timed: 5K-WA 12003MN, 10-WA 12004MN. The Foothills Trail in Orting is paved and provides flat areas and easy slopes. All races begin and end on the Foothills Trail. Participants will meet and check-in at the basketball court in the City of Orting Park. 7:00 a.m. check-in, receive bib numbers with timing chip and register necessary. The races begin at 9:00 a.m. Registration fees: $5 1 mile youth run, $10 youth 12 & under, $20 5K/10K run pre-register by Feb. 17, $30 day of event, $15 t-shirt (ordered by Feb. 17). Pre-registered participants can pick up bib numbers, race bags, and t-shirts before race day at the Parks Administration Office in Lakewood on Wednesday, March 1 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
